Open to: (a) all ASEAN nationals, except Singaporeans/Singapore PR. The AGS enables a successful scholar to pursue full-time coursework in Public Health and Occupational Medicine. Details are available from DGMS; (b) doctors from developing countries holding a first medical degree with a minimum of 4 years postgraduate experience of which at least 2 years was in orthopaedic surgery, or at least 1 year in the same subject after the completion of basic surgical training.
Duration: (a) 6-month clinical attachment at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, National University Hospital or the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Singapore General Hospital; applicants must be from developing countries and must have some experience in these two specialities; no degree or diploma awarded on completion of training.
