Programmes: undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate courses.

Description: (a) European Cultural Studies: intercultural communication, international political economy, British/American literature, programme with emphasis on contemporary European culture, communication, politics and cultural expressions; (b) Sociological Theory and Analysis: training in conducting empirical analysis based on a theoretical and methodological knowledge of features and issues in a modern Scandinavian welfare state: minimum 3 to 4 foreign students in English-taught classes; (c) European studies: international political economy, Western Europe and the European Union (EU), intercultural communication, focus on the structure and process of Western European integration; (d) Communication, Culture and Media: media and cultural studies theory, media and reception, theory and practice, media and visual representation, a theoretical framework of cultural studies and case studies; (e) Environmental Engineering: urban drainage engineering and modelling, urban water, teaching and research in chemistry, biology, hydraulics and environmental engineering; (classes in English if a minimum of 5 to 6 foreign students); (f) Indoor Environmental Engineering: air movement in rooms, courses and a group project; (g) International Development Studies: international political economy, Western Europe and the EU, international technology analysis, insight into international relations and development in a historical perspective; (h) Management in an International Perspective: the programme aims to give students an overall view of management theory and practice in an open market-directed economy.

Open to: (a) students with a minimum of 2 years undergraduate studies in the humanities; (b) students normally enrol in their fourth year; knowledge of the philosophy and methodology of social science equivalent to a second-year level is a prerequisite for foreign students; (c) and (g) candidates with a minimum of 3 years of study in the social sciences; (d) students with 2 to 3 years of undergraduate studies in the humanities, teaching on an advanced undergraduate/ graduate level; (e) candidates holding a B.Sc. in civil or environmental engineering or possibly advanced undergraduate students; (f) students with 3 to 4 years of study in building technology and indoor environmental engineering; (h) students expected to have a minimum of 3 years of study or some formal training and relevant practical experience.

Duration: (a), (c), (d) and (f) 5 months; (b) 5 or 10 months; (e) 1 to 4 semesters; courses begin in September; (g) 1 year; courses begin in February; (h) 5 months, composed of 3 eight-week modules; courses begin in September.

Fees: tuition free for students from co-operating universities and students from EU countries; (h) for students not from co-operating universities or EU countries, US$3,000.

Programmes: programme of courses in architecture.

Description: courses in architectural education: building design, planning, urban design, landscape and garden design, restoration and town renewal, furniture and interior design and industrial design; 2 programmes: (a) normal study, (b) guest study.

Open to: candidates of any nationality: (a) who will be requested to provide evidence of having studied at an acknowledged foreign music school and to give an audition; (b) and (c) who will pass the normal entrance examination which takes place in February for (b) and in June for (c), and follow studies in Danish.

Duration: (a) at least 3 months with 1 hour a week tuition minimum; (b) 4 to 5 years; (c) maximum 2 years.

Fees: (a) an hourly fee equivalent to a quota-calculation of teacher's salary.
